FAQ

Is it free?

Yes. There's nothing to buy and there are no ads.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Open the link in any browser, including the one inside X. Touch controls show up on their own.

Do I need an account?

No. Pick a name and you're in. Your character is remembered on your device, so clearing your browser data starts you over. If you want it to follow you, verify with X by posting a short code and pasting the link. We read that one public post and never see your X password.

Is this MapleStory?

No. XStory is its own game. It is inspired by the classic side-scrollers we grew up on.

How many people fit in a room?

Forty. If a room is full, the game sends you to the next one, like plaza-4f9k-2.

Someone is being a jerk. What now?

Email support@xstory.party with the room name and the player's name. We can remove rooms and names.
