A person reads these

Email support@xstory.party. If it's a bug, tell us the room name, your phone or browser, and what happened. If it's a player, tell us the room name and the player's name.

The game won't load

• Reload the page. Most hiccups end there.
• Try another browser. On a phone, open the link in Safari or Chrome instead of the app you tapped it in.
• Content blockers and VPNs sometimes cut the game connection. Turn them off for xstory.party and try again.

The room is full

A room holds 40 people. The game offers the next room, which is the same name with -2 on the end. Tap it and you're in. You can also start a fresh room from the home page with Make a room.

I got disconnected

The game tries to reconnect on its own. If it doesn't, reload. Your character is saved.

My character is gone

Your character is tied to the browser and the room you played it in. A private window, a different browser, cleared site data, or a different room starts a new one. Characters that haven't been played in 30 days are deleted.

Phone tips

• Landscape shows more of the world.
• Tap once anywhere to turn the sound on.
• If the touch pad feels off, check that your browser isn't zoomed in.
• Low battery mode can slow the game down.

Report a player

Email the room name and the player's name. We can remove names and rooms.
